Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and add the chopped onions. Cover the skillet and cook the onions on low heat until translucent and ripe (3 minutes).

Put the garlic, the chicken broth cubes, the water, the lentils and the cooked chopped onions in a pot and mix them.
Step 3
Leave the ingredients to boil well for 50 minutes, making the lentils mature well while still firm.

Add the rice, then leave the mix boiling for an extra 20 minutes. The rice will become ripe and the mixture will become thick.
Step 5
Dilute the butter in a bowl, and use it to cook the sliced onions, until you achieve a golden color. Then put the cooked onions aside.
Step 6
Place the chopped meat in a pan and simmer until it becomes cooked. Add the pine nuts and the spices, and drop the sliced onion mixture into the pan and mix it well.

When the lentil mixture is ready, place it in a serving dish and add the cooked meat mixture on top.
